The texture came from the island. Real beach sand packed into the mould before the molten silver hit — the heat, the pressure, the pour — locking the organic surface permanently into the metal. Every ridge and hollow formed by a grain of sand that will never sit the same way twice. The result is a texture that can't be designed. Only discovered.
